Caring for Displaced Women & Babies in need

Can you imagine having a baby in a refugee camp and trying to raise your children without a house or the comforts of your home? This is the reality of thousands of courageous mother's in Northern Iraq. These mothers have been forced to flee their homes from ISIS, leaving everything they owned behind and now must find ways of taking care and protecting themselves and their children living in refugee camps with limited resources. There is estimated that 5.2 million people in Iraq are in need of humanitarian aid and that just over 50% of those who are displaced are female.

This Mother's Day we are wanting to help provide baby's milk and diapers for babies in these camps and bless as many mother's and women as we can with hygiene packages. Many women are not getting what they need for basic health and hygiene. Our goal is to raise $20,000 this Mother's Day to love the displaced women and children here in Northern Iraq.

James says, "Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress."

As you think about loving your own mom's this year,  join with us in loving displaced women and children in Northern Iraq from one family to another!
